Gangway Safety (MARE103)

Description
The aim of this course is to give ship visitors and other seafarers’ welfare personnel an awareness and understanding of gangway safety. A marine shipping site is not an inherently safe place to work. That is why ship visitors need to take the extra initiative to understand how to safely board a ship and operate in that work environment. Safe access to ships will improve your service to seafarers and ultimately promote their satisfaction. This online course is developed by MARETraining for all seafarers’ welfare organisations and those involved in ship visiting.
